On Wednesday, June 10 at 3pm, Robert Rhatigan, the Director of the Geospatial and Population Studies Center at UNM and the New Mexico State Demographer will discuss preparations for the 2030 census. The census serves as the foundation for fair political representation, equitable distribution of public funding, and the defense of voting rights.

The National Conference of State Legislators has alerted LWV that it is time to start planning for the 2030 Census and local leagues can get involved.
